Lycée Français de Varsovie (LFV) is a coeducational day school in the AEFE network, the French education-abroad network. It offers the French national curriculum from age two through Terminale, the final lycée year leading to the French Baccalauréat.
Two sites for different stages
- Sadyba: maternelle (preschool) and élémentaire (primary), at ul. Konstancińska 13, 02-942 Warsaw. Contact: +48 22 651 96 12,
primaire@lfv.pl.
- Saska Kępa: collège (lower secondary), lycée (upper secondary) and administration, at ul. Walecznych 4/6, 03-916 Warsaw. Contact: +48 22 616 54 00,
info@lfv.pl.
The sites are on different sides of the Vistula. Test both journeys if siblings would attend different stages or you are planning for a later transfer. The school does not offer boarding.
The British School Warsaw also has primary provision in Sadyba, but it is a different school and curriculum. Compare it if English-medium British education is the priority; choose LFV for continuity in French education rather than for the neighbourhood name alone.
French teaching and the Polish international section
French is the main teaching language. The school also lists Polish, English, German and Spanish. For non-French-speaking children, it describes additional welcome support from maternelle, following discussion with the primary director. Confirm the provision for the child’s age and language level.
According to the FAQ, pupils without French nationality take DELF Prim A2 at the end of CM2, the final French primary year. DELF Prim is a French-language certificate for children; A2 identifies its language-proficiency level.
The Polish international section begins at CP, the first French primary year. It also serves collège and lycée pupils with strong Polish. It adds Polish language, literature and history-geography.
In the secondary international section, Polish teaching is four hours, compared with two hours for Polish as a mother tongue outside the section. A further two hours of history-geography are taught in Polish. Ask about entry requirements and how the timetable fits the French programme.
Applying through EDUKA
The admissions procedure has four online stages:
- Complete the application in EDUKA, the enrolment platform.
- Await administrative review.
- Pay the registration invoice displayed in the applicant profile.
- Sign the electronic contract.
Each legal guardian needs a different email address for electronic signing. Select the school year that matches the intended start; older instructions mentioning 2025–26 should not be used for a new 2026–27 application.
The published 2026–27 campaign was due to open in the first week of May, with the school year starting 2 September 2026. Both dates have passed. Confirm current availability and the appropriate EDUKA process with admissions. Returning families receive their re-enrolment dates directly from the school.

Our view
Choose LFV if the French curriculum and Baccalauréat fit the child’s plans. The Polish international section is particularly relevant when strong Polish language and literature study alongside French education is important.
The Warsaw guide and Poland guide provide wider context.
