Lycée Français International de Séville (LFIS) is a private, secular day school on Isla de la Cartuja. Its address is Avenida Carlos III s/n, Edificio de la Prensa, 41092 Sevilla.
The school follows the French national curriculum from nursery through Terminale. The current AEFE record shows that all 15 levels, from Petite Section to Terminale, are homologated by the French authorities.
LFIS is an AEFE partner school and part of the Odyssey Education group. It is also registered as a Cambridge International School. Families should ask which Cambridge courses or examinations apply in their child’s year, because this status is not a second full-school curriculum.
The school has no boarding provision.
Curriculum and languages
Students work towards the French Baccalauréat. The upper school also offers a European Section and optional preparation for Spanish university-access examinations.
The school describes its language model as 60% French, 20% English and 20% Spanish. French remains the main teaching language. English and Spanish are introduced from the early years and continue across the school.
In September 2026, LFIS added the Toute Petite Section for children from age 2. The complete route now runs from TPS through Terminale.
Students who do not yet speak French may receive French as a Foreign Language support. Spanish as a Foreign Language support is also available when needed. The school says these sessions usually take place in small groups for about two hours per week.
LFIS also advertises an Inclusion Hub with a SEND coordinator, psychologist, speech therapist and nutritionist. This does not guarantee that every need can be accommodated. Share reports before admission and ask the school to confirm the support it can provide.
Admissions
The current admissions landing page advertises places for September 2026. It offers a free, no-obligation enquiry and says the admissions team will respond within 48 hours.
That enquiry is not the same as a confirmed place. The school reviews a student’s academic record, and secondary applicants may need to provide recent reports and a motivation letter. Families should ask whether the appropriate class still has space now that the 2026–27 school year has begun.
The public landing page does not give one final application deadline. It also does not publish a waiting-list policy. Obtain the offer conditions, required documents and start date in writing before making financial commitments.
School hours
The school publishes the following timetable:
- Nursery and primary on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 09:00–12:30 and 14:30–16:30
- Nursery and primary on Wednesday: 09:00–13:00
- Secondary: 08:30–12:30 and 13:30–16:30
Some Première and Terminale classes in the European Section may finish at 17:30 or 18:30. Families should confirm the actual timetable and any midday supervision for their child.
Fees: the published schedule is from 2025–26
The most recent school fee attachment we found is explicitly dated 1 September 2025 to 30 June 2026. Its binary file has since been removed from the public link, although the school’s media record remains available.
These prior-cycle amounts are useful only as context. They are not confirmed prices for 2026–27:

The same schedule listed a €1,200 first-enrolment fee and a €400 re-enrolment charge. Five lunches per week cost €180 per month, while four lunches cost €160. School transport was listed at €190 per month.
Sibling tuition reductions were 5% for the second child, 40% for the third and 50% from the fourth child. These discounts also belong to the 2025–26 schedule.
Do not use any of these figures as a current quotation. Ask financiero.lfs@mlfmonde.org for the complete 2026–27 schedule, including tuition, meals, transport, deposits, discounts and withdrawal terms.
How to compare it
LFIS is relevant to families seeking continuity in the French education system, with substantial English and Spanish alongside French. Its homologation can support movement to another recognised French school, subject to available places.
Yago School Sevilla follows a different academic route and is based in Castilleja de la Cuesta. Compare the qualifications, teaching languages, location and complete current cost rather than treating both as interchangeable international schools.
