Lycée Français International d’Anvers (LFI Anvers) is a co-educational day school without boarding at Lamorinierestraat 168/A, 2018 Antwerpen. It follows French national programmes through the French Baccalauréat, rather than an English-medium IB pathway.

Curriculum and school life

Published ages are 2.5–5 for maternelle, 6–10 for primary, 11–15 for collège and 16–18 for lycée. The youngest children enter toute petite section from age 2.5. Confirm class placement with the school’s equivalence guide.

French programmes are taught in a bilingual setting, with English and practical Dutch from preschool. The school also describes Cambridge International School accreditation and Cambridge English certifications. These English qualifications do not make the overall programme an IB Diploma route.

For the fee tables, TPS and PS are the earliest preschool classes; MS and GS are the later preschool classes. CP–CM2 is primary, 6e–3e is collège, and 2nde, 1ère and Terminale are the three lycée years.

The Passerelle programme provides French as a foreign language (FLE) support for non-French-speaking children entering from a foreign school system, from GS. It costs €1,850, payable in September, for a minimum of one school year. Confirm whether it is required for your child.

Uniform is compulsory in every class; the financial rules say a child without it will not be admitted. The 2026 schedule provided for prices before 1 May, invoicing before 1 June and payment before 15 June. Canteen is optional, with prices due to be announced before 30 June. Ask for the applicable invoices rather than assuming these extras are included.

Admissions and waiting lists

Applications are online only and require reports from the previous and current school years, plus passport copies for parents and child. The teaching team reviews the file. The published sequence is an educational interview within five working days, an email two to three days after the admissions committee, payment of first-registration fees, and final email confirmation within seven days of payment.

Current-year applications remain open subject to places. Under the 2026–27 financial regulations, a waiting list may require first-registration payment, with order determined by the payment date. The money is refunded if the family withdraws while waiting or the school cannot admit the child. Once a place is accepted from the list, the registration fee is due.

Registration fees: conflicting published amounts

The English and French admissions pages quote €990 for first registration, non-refundable on cancellation. The 2026–27 financial regulations give a different scale below. Obtain written confirmation of the applicable amount; the figures should not be blended into a single estimate.

Stage Reduced by 31 March 2026 Full
TPS–PS €650 €1,050
MS–Terminale €850 €1,250

The reduced-payment deadline was 31 March 2026 and has passed. Re-enrolment is €260 at the reduced rate or €350 at the full rate, with the same 31 March 2026 deadline for the reduction; it is non-refundable.

Tuition for 2026–27

The family-paid table gives annual totals, either paid in advance by 31 July 2026 for the 2% early-payment reduction, or billed in instalments. The right-hand column is not a price per trimester.

Stage Annual: early payment Annual: instalment plan
TPS–PS €8,771 €8,950
MS–GS €10,672 €10,890
CP–CM2 €11,064 €11,290
2nde €14,063 €14,350
1ère / Terminale €15,925 €16,250

The family-paid collège amount was not reliably established in the existing source extract. Request that rate directly; the employer-funded collège figure below is not a substitute.

The 31 July 2026 early-payment deadline has passed. Instalments are 40% / 30% / 30%, with the first due 31 July 2026 and collected 15 August 2026. Late entrants should ask for their specific payment schedule.

Sibling reductions apply to tuition: 5% for the second child and 20% from the third.

Employer-funded annual tuition was due 31 August 2026:

Stage Employer-funded annual tuition
TPS–PS €12,050
MS–GS €12,220
CP–CM2 €13,240
Collège 6e–3e €15,930
2nde €16,820
1ère / Terminale €18,970

Tuition covers classroom materials and school outings. It excludes residential trips, canteen, after-school activities and uniform. An unpaid direct debit can incur €200 in administrative charges; after 10 days, the child may not attend class until the account is regularised. Started months and started terms are payable, and departure for personal convenience in the third term does not produce a refund.

French nationals registered with the embassy may ask the consulate about school bursaries. The solidarity-fund commissions scheduled for March and June 2026 have passed; no later decision date is established here.

Our view

LFI Anvers is relevant for families seeking French schooling through the Baccalauréat in Antwerp, with Dutch and English alongside it. Antwerp International School offers a different English-medium IB route in Ekeren; compare the curriculum and journey, not only the international label.
