The 2026/27 preisliste below is the school’s own PDF. If a later ceník disagrees, trust the PDF.

It is co-ed. It is a day school. There is no boarding house and no boarding fee. If the posting has not found a flat, this school will not absorb the child.
You will pay in koruna. This is not the International School of Prague, not Park Lane, and not a first-district Czech gymnázium. Jinonice is Prague 5. Time that road in January.
Families who want a German official Auslandsschule — one of the network of about 140 the homepage names — from kindergarten through the Deutsches internationales Abitur, with the Federal Republic of Germany and the Zentralstelle für das Auslandsschulwesen behind the quality seal.
The homepage’s own sentence: a place of encounter, committed especially to German language and culture, supported by the Bundesrepublik. Since 2009 the school has carried the Exzellente Deutsche Auslandsschule seal after Bund-Länder-Inspektion. We will not invent the date of the last BLI.
The gymnasium page dates the deutsch-tschechische Begegnungsschule to 2001, a joint project of the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the German Foreign Office. That is why the 2026/27 preisliste prints a German gymnasium programme and a Czech gymnasium programme as different koruna lines. Ask which track this child would actually sit.
Kindergarten, as its own page prints it: four mixed-age groups, ages 2.5 to six, 7:30–17:00. Grundschule: years 1–4, German-language teaching, English and Czech in those languages. Gymnasium: the fee PDF’s German programme runs 5–12; the Czech programme’s existing pupils are listed 7–12, with new Czech-programme joiners “from class 6.”
It will not suit a family who only want English IB from age three, or a Czech public gymnázium with no German. Walk those if that is the climate.
One Jinonice address on every page we opened. The homepage’s 2026 building series says a new kindergarten and primary building is going up on the same site — part 11 of that series was still about the roof in August 2026. Ask which door the youngest children actually use when you walk in. Do not trust an old Open Day PDF.
The Grundschule page’s own texture, not ours: every class in years 1–4 sings in a choir; every year 4 goes riding; years 2–4 go to Landschulheim; the whole primary visits the German film festival at the Lucerna; every year 3 has swimming. Afternoon Hort and clubs sit beside that day. The fee PDF is blunt that those extras are not inside Schulgeld.
Kindergarten lists its own AGs: painting, upcycling, dance, mini-ballet, ball games, movement, Czech, and morning musical early education. Motto on that page: “Die Welt hat viele Farben.” Leitsatz: “Lernen mit Kopf, Herz und Hand.”
No published school-bus koruna on the 2026/27 preisliste. Ask.
This is an Anmeldung with documents, not an international rolling OpenApply in English only.
Kindergarten, as the Anmeldungen page lists what you must bring:
School years, as the 2025 Anmeldung PDF we could open still asks: last school report; proof of valid health insurance in the Czech Republic; a health certificate not older than three months from a doctor registered in the Czech Republic; a copy of a parent’s passport pages showing a valid long-stay permission; GDPR form. Conditions for the German-language track, that form says, sit in the current Schulordnung. Ask whether the 2026 packet is the same.
The 2026/27 preisliste: a one-time non-refundable Anmeldegebühr of 19,000 CZK per child for kindergarten, primary or gymnasium. If it is not paid within two weeks, the application is not considered. The school does not send a reminder.
We did not find a published waitlist rule or a 2026 cutoff date on the pages we opened. Call and ask whether this year group has a seat.
The official PDF lives at dsp-praha.org/images/PDFs2026/Schulorga/Preisliste 2026-2027_.pdf. The Schulgeld page points to it. The letterhead says Schulgeld is usually raised at the start of the year by last year’s inflation, and that the school reserves the right to change the figure.

Schulgeld, the PDF is explicit, does not include teaching materials, lunch, trips, clubs, afternoon care, individual tutoring, or summer camp. A first-year primary child is not “about 198,000.” It is 19,000 + 5,000 + 198,000 before lunch. We did not find 2026/27 lunch, Hort, or bus figures on that PDF. Ask.
How you pay. Invoices go as PDF from fakturace@dsp-praha.cz, due in 14 days or on the plan printed on the invoice. Two named plans:
Club and care invoices go out at the start of each half-year. Miss the date and the child is taken off the programme.
Join mid-year and you pay 1/10 of the annual Schulgeld per month for primary and both gymnasium tracks, 1/11 for kindergarten, 1/5 of the half-year for clubs and care. A started month is charged in full.
Leaving. Written notice only at 31 December or 31 May. Leave early and the whole half-year is still due. Class 12 is always the full year. Kindergarten can leave during the year: one month’s notice from the first day of the next calendar month. No refund on clubs or care if you leave mid-half-year.
Social reduction. You may apply before the school year starts, on forms from the commercial office. The school committee reads each request in confidence. Care fees and other school charges are not reduced.

The homepage’s through-line is the Deutsches internationales Abitur. The 17 June 2026 news item is an Abiturzeugnis ceremony at the German Embassy’s Kuppelsaal. We will not invent a points average the pages we opened did not print.
The Czech gymnasium programme is a second paper climate inside the same Jinonice gate. Ask which certificate this child would hold at eighteen, and whether a later Czech faculty wants a maturita-shaped document or will read the DIA.
Grundschule Czech: the primary page says compensatory exams for Czech primary pupils should in future be sat at DSP because Czech hours have increased, and that the school plans Czech in three levels — mother tongue, second language, foreign language. Ask what is actually running this year.
English is taught as a subject in the primary. This is not an English-medium international.
Ask which gymnasium track — German or Czech — this child would actually join, and why the koruna lines differ. Ask whether the new kindergarten-and-primary building is the door you walk through. Ask what lunch and Hort cost in 2026/27, because the preisliste leaves them out. Ask whether the German Vorkurs at 15,000 CZK is expected. Ask what happens if the posting ends in March: half-year notice, and class 12 still pays the year. Ask for the live BLI report, not only the 2009 seal.
We are not ranking this school against ISP or Park Lane. We are not guessing a waitlist.
