Lycée Français de Madrid, two AEFE gates, not Soto and not Pozuelo

An AEFE lycée on two Madrid-area sites, not a British house in Soto and not an American campus in Pozuelo. The 2026–27 page prints first-inscription euros. The public quarterly tuition decisions we could open are still labelled 2025–26.

The Lycée Français de Madrid is a co-educational day AEFE school on two sites. Official site lfmadrid.org. You enrol on one site, the admissions page says. Do not present the same file at both gates.

Conde de Orgaz — Plaza del Liceo 1, 28043 Madrid.

La Moraleja — Camino Ancho 85, 28109 Alcobendas. Switchboard +34 91 650 70 19.

It is not Runnymede College a few streets away in La Moraleja, not King’s College Soto, and not the American School of Madrid in Pozuelo. The leaving paper is the Bac.

The useful questions are: Which gate will this child actually stand in? And have you added the première inscription€1,604 or €1,785 — because it sits beside the first year?

Who it is for

Families who need a French week that travels with the AEFE, and who can live with two addresses that share a ring road and almost no Monday.

TPS through Terminale. It is a day school. There is no boarding house.

The transport page’s snapshot: more than 700 pupils on 48 bus lines between the two sites. Treat those as the school’s own photographs.

It will not suit a family hunting an English British week only, or a colegio concertado that already knows the street. Walk those if that is the climate.

The campus you can actually picture

Plaza del Liceo in Conde de Orgaz. Camino Ancho in La Moraleja, the same north side as Runnymede and not the same Monday. Time both if the posting might move. Morning welcome from 08:30 at Orgaz (TPS–CM2) and from 08:00 at La Moraleja (TPS–3e), the fees page says, at no extra charge.

How a child actually gets in

The admissions page: choose one site at step 3. Write the lycée. We will not invent a test cutoff or a waitlist.

Money, as the 2026–2027 tarifs page prints it

First registration, under the 2026–2027 heading

Path 2026–2027
Maternelle and élémentaire €1,604
Collège and lycée €1,785

Sibling remissions on tuition: 10% for the third child, 50% from the fourth, when several children are on roll at once.

Meal, as the same page prints it: €9.45 a meal, sold singly, not refundable. Half-board binds the term.

Exceptional afternoon care: €4 for one day. Other garderie and étude lines on the page are still empty, or sit under 2025–2026 decisions. We will not invent them.

The quarterly tuition table the page still points at is labelled 2025–2026. We will not copy those euros into a 2026 year. Ask the lycée for the live décision before you compare LFM to a British invoice.

What we are not claiming

We are not ranking the lycée against Runnymede. We are not calling two sites one commute. We are not inventing a quarterly 2026 tuition. We are not treating “more than 700” bus pupils as a census we counted.

Stairs questions

Ask which gate this child stands in — Orgaz or La Moraleja. Ask for the 2026–27 quarterly tuition décision in writing. Time both north-side streets and Pozuelo on the same wet Tuesday.

The Madrid hub is the short map. The Spain country page is the wider one.
