Maastricht schools, a UWC on Discusworp

Maastricht is not a Randstad suburb. The portrait we have is a United World College on Discusworp. Day from 4. Residential from 16. The 2026–27 page prints both bills.

Also in Nederlands

Maastricht is not “the international school.” It is a Limburg city whose Dutch basisscholen are allowed to be first, plus one official English-facing door posting families name in the first week.

The portrait we have is UWC Maastricht at Discusworp 65. Use it for the 2026–27 euros — day PYP €8,360, MYP €12,260, DP/CP €12,690, residential €43,575. This note is the city around it. The Netherlands country page is the wider map.

One climate, two doors

Day pupils live in the Maastricht border region with their families. Residential is 16–19, DP or CP, selected through UWC International. The FAQ says this is not a typical boarding school. No day scholarship. No sibling discount.

Walk it, then a municipal yard.

The Dutch city is the other school

If you might stay, an English IB is not automatically the kindest paper. A basisschool that already knows the street — that is an official morning. The Hague is another posting. Amsterdam is another matching form.

The language of the yard is the test.

What to ask on the stairs

Ask whether this child is a day commuter or a residential UWC applicant. Confirm the live 2026–27 line, not last year’s.

The city hub is the short map. The UWC portrait is the long one.

Friendly orientation, not formal admissions advice. Always confirm dates with the school.
