Copenhagen is not one IB campus in Nordhavn. It is that house with a 25% nationality cap, and a Hellerup house that also holds a Danish STX. Monthly kroner stay subsidised only if the CPR lands on time.
Copenhagen is not “the international school.” It is a Danish city whose folkeskole mornings are allowed to be first, plus two official English-facing doors posting families name in the first week.

CIS sits in Nordhavn, Levantkaj 4–14. IB school 000004. Admission is open irrespective of gender, the school says, and capped by nationality at 25%. Fees sit in a 2026/27 PDF.

They share a short train and a different weather. Walk both, then a folkeskole yard.
If you might stay, an English IB is not automatically the kindest paper. A municipal school, an STX that is not inside ISH — those are official mornings. Families looking at CIS often also walk ISH because the STX door is a different leaving paper from a pure IB.
The language of the yard is the test. A child can thrive in English at 9 a.m. and still be lonely at 11 if the harbour is speaking Danish.
Ask CIS how the nationality cap sits for this passport this year. Ask ISH whether you are buying IB or STX. Ask both what happens to the bill if the CPR is late.
