Athens is not “the international school.” It is a Greek city whose public and ιδιωτικά mornings are allowed to be first, plus two official English-facing doors posting families name in the first week.
The portraits we have are Campion School in Pallini and ACS Athens in Halandri. Use them for what the pages print. Campion’s 2026/27 fee schedule is a PDF you can open. ACS tuition exists as a slider of images — until that is text, it is not a number we will invent. This note is the city between them. The Greece country page is the wider map.
Two climates, one motorway
Campion sits at Aghias Ioulianis 2, Pallini 153 51. British programme into IGCSE and a full IB Diploma. English in the classroom. Greek as a serious subject. An optional απολυτήριο pathway sits beside the IB. Extra English is a published line.
ACS sits at 129 Aghias Paraskevis Street, Halandri. American diploma (MSA), IB, AP. Optional Greek high-school equivalency for some IB students. The school does not currently offer dormitory service. Ask admissions for this year’s tuition in writing.
They share a northern-and-eastern Tuesday and almost no Monday. Walk both, then a neighbourhood Greek courtyard.
The Greek city is the other school
If you might stay, an English IB or an American diploma is not automatically the kindest paper. A state λύκειο, a private Greek school that still issues the απολυτήριο — those are official mornings. Families looking at Campion often also walk a Greek door in the same week.
The language of the yard is the test. A child can thrive in English at 9 a.m. and still be lonely at 11 if the park is speaking Greek.
What to ask on the stairs
Ask which paper this child will hold — IB, an American diploma, or απολυτήριο. Ask ACS for euros as text. Time Pallini and Halandri on the same Attiki Odos morning. Do not budget from a photograph of the Acropolis.
The city hub is the short map. The two portraits are the long ones.
Friendly orientation, not formal admissions advice. Always confirm dates with the school.
